Bed Shaker Alarm Clocks

A vibrating puck under the pillow, a speaker pointed at the room and a light that climbs. For sleepers a beep alone has never reached.

Bed Shaker Alarm Clocks

This is the department the ANJANK team started with. The idea is simple and it is old: if hearing is not the sense that wakes you, use a second one. Vibration reaches through a pillow, and light reaches through closed eyelids.

All four models here run the shaker wirelessly, so nothing is tethered to the nightstand. The puck goes under the pillow or between mattress and topper, charges by magnet or USB-C, and holds about a month of daily use per charge.

Choosing

Choosing between the four

The red model is the original design: a wide LED face, two alarms, a USB port on the front and a shaker that is loud in the mattress. It is the cheapest way into the department and the one with the longest review history.

The three round models share one body in latte, black and blue. They add a nine-colour night light, eight graded alarm sounds, a rainbow display mode and separate dials for volume and brightness. If a teenager is the sleeper in question, these are the ones that get used.

The difference between latte and black is not only colour. Latte carries a fabric front that softens the display at night, black is a gloss face that reads brighter from across a room. Blue sits between them.

What people write about this department

Verbatim from reviews of these models, low ratings included.

As a nursing student, sometimes there are long days where I can’t hear my phone go off.

Tesha E, 5 out of 5, 5 August 2026

The only thing is I wish it had more sound options (I think there are only 5 to 7) and that there was a way to adjust the brightness for the alarm light.

JC_Reisne, 4 out of 5, 6 July 2026

This was the 3rd of these I have purchased since 2019. I have bought one about every year or so, because the sound feature eventually stops working.

Questions

Asked often enough to answer here

Where does the shaker go?

Under the pillow, or between the mattress and a topper. On top of a nightstand it buzzes and does nothing useful.

Will it wake a partner as well?

Vibration is local, so usually not. Sound is not local, and the front speaker on these models is loud by design. Set sound and vibration separately if you share a bed.

Does the shaker need its own cable at night?

No. It runs on an internal cell for around a month and charges by magnet or USB-C when the battery indicator drops.

Can the display be turned off completely?

Yes. The dimmer runs from 100% to 0% and stays where you leave it.

A bed shaker is an alerting device, not a safety device. For fire safety, look at alarms designed and listed for that purpose, and read what the U.S. Fire Administration says about them.
